Featured Listing Basics
Featured Listings is a marketing tool Advisors can use to promote their listing(s) to increase visibility and reach more customers on Keen. This auction-based, pay-per-click system allows Advisors to bid for higher placement within the Featured Advisors sort in the category of the listing they choose to feature.
All Advisor listings are eligible to be featured — a minimum star rating is no longer required, meaning all Advisors can now bid on Featured Listings, regardless of their current rating.
Advisors can bid to improve placement in the Featured Advisors sort only. All Advisors will still appear in the Best Available sort based on their Listing Quality Score (LQS). View Listing Quality Score (LQS) for more information on how positioning is determined.
Featuring Your Listing
To feature a listing:

Visit your Advisor Dashboard.

Scroll to the My Listings section.

Click Feature My Listings.

Choose the listing you want to feature.

Enter your maximum bid amount per qualified click. You can view Historical Bid data for guidance, though this is only an estimate.

Choose No Expiration or set a Budget.
- If you're selecting a budget, please keep in mind that the budget amount should be at least 3 times greater than your Maximum Bid. -
Optionally, set up a voice greeting to be featured over the phone through 1-800-ASK-KEEN. View how to record a greeting.
Note: You can feature as many listings as you like with unique bids per listing. Listings will only be featured when you’re online and available for Calls and/or Chats.
Cost to Feature a Listing

Minimum bid: $0.20 per charged click

Maximum bid: $200.00 per charged click
The actual cost per click is determined by:

Your maximum bid

Your Listing Quality Score

The competition (number and quality of other Advisors online and bidding)
Keen uses auto-bidding to ensure you’re charged only one penny more than necessary to rank above the listing directly below yours — never more than your max bid.
How Clicks Are Counted
You are charged a click when:

A customer with valid payment info clicks your Featured Listing.

A customer listens to your voice greeting over the phone.
-
A customer dials a promotional 800 number and enters your listing extension.

A customer adds payment info within 24 hours of clicking your listing.
You are not charged when:

Clicks come from other sort options (e.g., Best Available).

The same customer clicks your listing more than once in 24 hours.

An Advisor or Keen employee clicks your listing.

The customer does not register payment info within 24 hours.

The customer is already a paying client from the past 30 days.
Note: Click are non-refundable and there is no guarantee a click with turn into a call or chat with a customer.
How a Featured Listing Expires
Your bid may expire if:

You reach your budget limit.

You have insufficient funds.

Your listing has low conversion (high clicks but few paid readings). If this occurs, you will be notified by email.
To resume bidding, simply place a new bid or add funds.
Finding Your Listing’s Current Position
When looking for your placement, keep in mind the following:

If you’ve opted out of taking introductory promotions, your profile won’t appear to new customers or users who aren’t logged into a Keen account. This helps make the process smoother for customers intending to use promotions.

On category pages, the default sort for new or non-logged-in users is Best Available, while for returning customers who have transacted on Keen, the default is Featured Advisors.
- You must be set to available for Calls or Chats to be visible at your placement.
Placements are consistent across both the website and app, though they may shift slightly depending on other advisors’ availability.
Managing Featured Listings
From Advisor Dashboard > My Listings:

Click Bid Now to place a bid

Click Edit Listing to adjust an existing bid

Click Feature My Listings to start, stop, or modify bids
