How Customers Can Find You on Keen

Depending on where a customer is in their Keen journey, they may see different experiences across the website. These personalized views are designed to help customers find Advisors who best match their needs and preferences.

Category Pages on Keen

Customers browsing categories such as Love & Relationships or Psychic Readings can sort and filter Advisors in several ways.

Best Available

Each listing is assigned a Listing Quality Score (LQS), which determines placement within the Best Available sort for that category.

To view your current position in the Best Available sort, visit your Quality Score page.

New-to-Keen customers are shown this sort by default. Since new customers often receive introductory promotions, Advisors who have opted into promotions may be prioritized in these results until the customer's introductory offer has been fully redeemed.

Featured Advisors (Sponsored Advisors)

This section displays Advisors currently using Keen’s Featured Listings tool.

This sort highlights Advisors who joined Keen before 2010.

Highest Rated

Advisors are sorted by their overall star rating while also taking transaction volume into account.

The Keen homepage is personalized for each customer. Not every customer will see the same sections, and customers will not see all sections at once.

Customers who complete the Get Matched quiz may see Advisors similar to those they were originally paired with through Keen’s recommendation engine.

Similar to Your Favorites

Customers who have favorited Advisors may see recommendations for Advisors with similar reading styles and specialties.

Similar to Recently Viewed

Suggests Advisors with offerings similar to listings the customer has recently viewed.

Recommended Based on Activity

Customers who recently connected with an Advisor may receive recommendations for Advisors with similar specialties or styles.

Best for New Customers

Based on a rolling 90-day period, this section highlights Advisors who:

  • Are opted in to speak with new-to-Keen customers
  • Successfully convert new customers into paying customers

AI-Powered Search for New Customers

We’ve recently introduced a new and improved search experience for new-to-Keen customers designed to make finding the right Advisor even easier.

Previously, customers could only use the Keen search bar to search for a specific Advisor’s name. Now, new customers can use AI-powered search to describe the type of guidance they’re looking for in their own words.

For example, a customer might search:

“Help me find an advisor who can connect with my dog who just passed away.”

Using AI-powered recommendations, Keen will then provide the customer with:

  • 3 suggested Advisors
  • A short AI-generated summary explaining why those Advisors may be a strong match for the customer’s needs

This enhanced search experience helps customers discover Advisors based on topics, specialties, communication style, and reading preferences — even if they don’t know exactly what category or keywords to search for.

To help improve your visibility within these recommendations:

  • Keep your listing descriptions detailed and up to date
  • Select relevant specialties, skills, and methods
  • Clearly describe your reading style and areas of expertise
  • Create listings in all categories where you feel confident providing guidance

The more complete and accurate your listings are, the better our recommendation tools can connect you with customers looking for the type of support you provide.


Listing Search & Visibility

While Listing Quality Score (LQS) influences default placement, customers can also search and filter Advisors using several additional attributes.

Price Per Minute

Adjusting your pricing from time to time may increase your visibility and help you connect with different types of customers.

We recommend setting prices that align with both your business goals and the type of long-term customers you want to attract.

Skills & Methods

Customers familiar with psychic services often search for specific reading styles, tools, or methods they already know and trust.

Each listing allows you to select up to 5 skills and methods. Choosing relevant options can help expand your reach.

Specialties

Customers frequently search for Advisors with expertise in specific life topics or situations.

Each listing allows you to select up to 5 specialties that best represent the advice you feel most confident providing.

Conversation Type

Many new customers prefer Chat sessions as they begin exploring psychic advice on Keen.

By offering both Chat and Call availability, you may increase your visibility and connect with more customers.

That said, it’s important to focus on the conversation types and topics where you feel most comfortable and confident. Your authenticity, honesty, and accuracy are what ultimately create the best customer experiences and lead to stronger ratings and repeat connections.
